Kristyn Wilson to lead Upright, a new trust-focused public relations agency
Adept Marketing has launched Upright, a public relations agency dedicated to maximizing trust using a blend of traditional public relations, digital public relations and digital marketing channels.
Kristyn Wilson, a communications executive 20+ years of public relations experience, is leading Upright as vice president of public relations and communications. She previously represented central Ohio companies NetJets, Abbott Nutrition, and Resource (now IBMiX). While Upright partners with Adept Marketing, it exists as a separate company, allowing clients to work with one or both agencies as needed.
Lloyd Pierre-Louis, a member of Columbus law firm Dickinson Wright PLLC, has been named a 2020 Black Leaders Worth Watching by Profiles in Diversity Journal.

Lloyd is a member of Dickinson Wright’s Cannabis Practice Group and focuses on government affairs and administrative law, and particularly the legal cannabis and hemp industries. He has authored numerous articles, presented to trade groups and is a subject matter expert regarding issues in the legal cannabis industry.
Bryana Ross has joined the board of Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon & ½ Marathon.
A Columbus resident, Ross, 36, is the health, wellness and aquatics manager for the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department and a two-time finisher of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus ½ Marathon.
Additionally, she has been involved with planning and implementing the Highlights’ Kids’ Run, held in cooperation with the recreation department on Columbus Marathon weekend.
A graduate of the University of Charleston, West Virginia, with an MBA from Otterbein College, Ross has been with Columbus Recreation and Parks in various positions since 2010.
