The Columbus CEO accounting firms leaderboard, which has been running since 2007, this year shows that Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte are Nos. 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Ernst & Young has 143 CPAs, Pricewaterhouse has 115 CPAs and Deloitte has 104 CPAs. Deloitte has more total employees than Ernst & Young, however, with 430 compared with 349.

Closing out the 10-company list, Clark Schaefer Hackett has 26 CPAs. There were 24 total respondents to the 2019 Columbus CEO Accounting Firms survey.

The Leaderboard features selected topics each month. The February Leaderboards will feature Central Ohio general contractors and commercial real estate leases—a new category for 2020. The deadline for inclusion in the general contractor survey is Nov. 15. The commercial leases Leaderboard will be compiled using third-party information. If you want your Central Ohio company to be considered for an upcoming Leaderboard, contact Columbus CEO at 614-461-5109 or cteasley@columbusceo.com.
