Appointments & Awards: Alaina Shearer announces intention to run for 12th Congressional District as Democratic contender

OHIO's 12TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT

Shearer will run as the Democratic contender in the 2020 race for Ohio’s 12th Congressional District. She and her husband Seth are residents of Liberty Township in Delaware County, where they’re raising four children. Alaina is running for Congress to ensure her children, and all of Ohio's children are able to have the opportunity to work hard and prosper.

Mickey McCabe, Senior Executive Director for Research Partnerships

In his role, McCabe will seek to grow externally-funded research in partnership with corporations, government agencies and other universities in the Dayton area, as well as promote connections that increase the number of partners located at the Russ Research Center in Beavercreek.
