Appointments & Awards: Darryl Syler tapped to lead State's fleet management program

OHIO DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES

Darryl Syler, administrator

As administrator of the Office of Fleet Management, housed within the General Services Division of DAS, Syler will oversee the comprehensive motor vehicle management services DAS provides to State agencies. Those services include vehicle purchases and disposal, leasing, motor pool management, fuel/maintenance procurement cards, manufacturer recall oversight, compliance reporting, accident management, and vehicle assignment authorizations. Syler comes to DAS from the city of Dublin, Ohio, where he was director of fleet management for eight years.
