Hunting isn’t merely a pastime in Ohio. It’s also an economic engine. “It’s just not thought of in economic terms,” says Tom Vorisek, a lifelong hunter and the owner of Vorisek Financial Corporation in Worthington. Vorisek, however, is trying to change that. He and other pro-hunting Ohio business leaders have formed a new advocacy group, Hunting Works for Ohio, that is raising awareness of hunting’s economic impact in the Buckeye State.
