Computers: Super-fast computer gets a fitting name

The Ohio Supercomputer Center named its latest supercomputer system after Jesse Owens-an appropriate name for the computer, which is the center's most powerful yet. It will be called the "Dell Owens Cluster" and will be powered by Dell PowerEdge servers featuring the the latest Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 v4 product family. The computer will join the center'sHP/Intel Ruby Cluster and HP/Intel Oakley Cluster. Ohio students and researchers will benefit from the addition.
