ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — The world's largest Internet poker company has set up shop in New Jersey, hoping to give a boost to the nation's largest online gambling market.

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement approved PokerStars for full operations in the state on Monday. The company's software became available for download.

For now, only PokerStars customers physically located within New Jersey's borders will be able to use its platform to gamble online in the United States.

The launch follows five days of supervised test play and marks the much anticipated re-emergence of the Internet poker giant. It stopped doing business in the United States in 2011.

PokerStars is partnered with Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.

The site, pokerstarsnj.com, is New Jersey's 18th Internet gambling site.
