How the Dow Jones industrial average fared on Thursday
Stocks ended a tumultuous trading week with a slight loss on Thursday as investors sought safety ahead of an extended Independence Day weekend. Investors sold after the release of a downbeat report from the International Monetary Fund on Greece's finances as the country prepares for a Sunday vote on terms of its bailout.
