'Dancing,' 'Voice' on top as viewers got musical last week
NEW YORK (AP) — Music and dancing ruled the airwaves last week as "Dancing With the Stars" and "The Voice" scored five out of the 10 most-watched shows.
ABC's "Dancing" took the top two slots, followed by a pair of regular broadcasts of NBC's "The Voice." A third, special edition of "The Voice" ranked ninth.
For the week overall in prime time, CBS averaged 6.2 million viewers, ahead of NBC, ABC and Fox.
TNT was the most popular cable network in prime time, averaging 3 million viewers.
NBC's "Nightly News" reclaimed the ratings lead after the previous week's loss to ABC's "World News Tonight."
