FRANCONIA, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a stabbing outside a suburban Philadelphia meat processing plant has left one longtime employee dead and another in surgery.

Authorities say the men were involved in a fight at around 8 a.m. Wednesday at the JBS facility in Franconia.

Police say they suspect the man in surgery stabbed the other man. Their names weren't released.

The plant is formerly known as Moyer Meat Packing. It renders fats and other tissue from meat by-products for dog food and feed.
