The department store operator warned that its sales last month were weaker than expected and cut its outlook for a key sales measure.

Yum Brands Inc., up $1.01 to $70.74

The owner of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell lowered its full-year guidance, but it may not be as bad as some investors expected.

Ford Motor Co., up 11 cents to $14.21

A Morgan Stanley analyst cut his price target on the automaker's stock by $2 and reduced its earnings estimates through 2016.

Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., up 27 cents to $21.79

The investment firm said it invested in Lemonade Restaurant Group, a fast-casual restaurant operator based in Los Angeles.

Costco Wholesale Corp., up $3.46 to $128.73

The warehouse club operator reported fiscal fourth-quarter earnings and revenue that beat Wall Street expectations.

SodaStream International Ltd., down 40 cents to $21.12

Shares of the soda machine maker continued to fall, a day after it said that it isn't winning over enough new customers.

American Airlines Group Inc., down $1.09 to $33

Passenger traffic on American Airlines and US Airways fell slightly in September, leaving a few more empty seats on planes.
