BALTIMORE (AP) — A casino hostess accused in a lawsuit of stealing a list of high-rolling clients from a Maryland casino where she used to work has been banned from contacting the customers until further notice.

The Maryland Live Casino in Hanover sued Helena Wong, alleging that she used a proprietary list of highly valued customers to attract business to the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore, where she now works.

Wong sent an email earlier this month to roughly 20 Maryland Live customers offering free access and services at the Horseshoe, which opened Tuesday.

A federal judge on Friday imposed a preliminary injunction on Wong, ordering her not to contact those clients until the case is resolved.

Wong has denied any wrongdoing. She says she met the clients and got their contact information personally.
