An insurance-industry job fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the offices of Franklin County Job and Family Services, 1721 Northland Park Ave.

The event is sponsored by several groups, including the jobs agency, the Insurance Industry Resource Council and the National African American Insurance Association.

The Ohio insurance industry needs to hire 26,000 skilled workers by 2020, according to a study recently commissioned by the insurance council.

Job-seekers planning to attend are encouraged to register at the career fair's Eventbrite page.
