Kettering Health Network posts most job opening ads

Kettering Health Network posted the most job-opening advertisements online — 472 — from mid-October through mid-November in Western Ohio, an area that includes Dayton, state government said Friday.

Emerson had the second most openings posted, with 156, the state said. Sears Holding Corp. posted 137 job opening ads, with Pizza Hut posting 94 opening ads.

Emerson Climate Technologies posted 91 ads, the state said. Coming in sixth in the area was General Electric with 89 ads.

The state’s Western Ohio jobs snapshot report covers Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Fayette, Greene, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble and Shelby counties.

General Electric advertised more job openings in the Southwestern Ohio/Cincinnati area than any other employer, the state also said.

In a monthly report, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services said GE posted 520 job openings ads online from October 14 through November 13.

IBM came in second with 293 opening ads, the report said. Information is compiled from The Conference Board, a not-for-profit independent business and research association.

Fifth Third Bank had the third most job opening postings, with 251, the state said. Deloitte had 200 postings while Macy’s posted 197 ads.
