Dr. Rachel A. Bostelman of Napoleon Family Vision & Contact Lens Center has recently been speaking to students of all ages in the community.

RealEyes is an educational presentation that has been given by Bostelman in area schools, including St. John Freedom grades one through six, Kids’ Haven preschool classes and Wauseon Elementary second grade. Upcoming RealEyes presentations are scheduled at St. Augustine and Liberty Center’s fifth grade class. These presentations are designed and endorsed by the Ohio Optometric Association (OOA) and geared for grades K-12 to teach children how eyes work and the importance of eye health and safety.

Bostelman was also a speaker this month at the Henry County Senior Center, where she spoke about age-related eye conditions and nutrition. She was assisted by optician Jennifer Murrey in adjusting and cleaning glasses for those in attendance.

Bostelman is still scheduling presentations for organizations. Anyone interested in hosting a presentation can contact her at 2020@napoleonfamilyvision.com or 419-599-4541.
