LETTER: Remind Congress they're expendible
Congress sets their salary, work schedule, hours, vacations, retirement benefits, health system, and travel and mail privileges. Most of them live in a different world than we do and strive to stay on the gravy train of public money. Is it any wonder they do not comprehend what the average person is going through? Most make it obvious by their actions that their party and position is more important to them than the survival of the U.S. A few are true statesmen that want to solve our county’s problems. The media should prominently disclose how each Congress person votes on every issue immediately.
To break the continuing gridlock we must throw the narcissistic members out of office and term limits should be applied to every elected position in the future. No one is indispensable.
