HUNTLEY, Ill. — Kenneth Zehnder, 76, of Huntley, Ill., passed away on Nov. 28, 2017, in South Elgin, Ill.

He was born in Wooster on Aug. 4, 1941, to Jack and Dorothy Zehnder of Orrville, and was a 1959 graduate of Orrville High School.

He served in the Army from 1961-64, and earned his bachelor of science in industrial management from Akron University in 1978, his masters of business administration from Northern Illinois University in 1985, and his masters of arts from Roosevelt University in 2005.

He was a charter member of Wadsworth, Ohio 4th degree Knight of Columbus as well as a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are his wife, Teresa (Witschey) Zehnder; children, Elizabeth (Keith) Fancsalszki, and Amy Zehnder; grandchildren, Mya Zehnder, Benjamin Griggs, Ashley Fancsalszki, Nicholas Fancsalszki, and Kyla Griggs; a brother, Joseph (Priscilla) Zehnder; and sisters, Mary (Jerry) Miller, and Jude (Don) Osborne.

He was preceded in death by sons, John and Paul; his parents; a sister, Veronica; and a brother, Jackie.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth, with his sons in a private ceremony.
