Watershed Distillery announced today that its consumer-ready hand sanitizer is now available to the public. The hand sanitizer is being produced via FDA guidelines and sold in three volumes: 16-ounces, 1-gallon bottles and 5-gallon buckets. Curbside pickup is available at the distillery, 1145 Chesapeake Ave. Ste. D. You can find more information here.
A&R Creative Group (The Crest Gastropub, Alchemy Brands and more) has temporarily closed its restaurants, but this Friday, April 3, the restaurant group will provide free meals to restaurant industry workers from 1 to 3 p.m. at The Crest on Parsons Avenue. Please bring proof of current or most recent service industry employment.
Chef BJ Lieberman, the interim executive chef at Freedom a la Cart, has started hosting cooking classes on Instagram Live @bjlieberman. His next one, featuring burgers, takes place at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 5. Lieberman relocated to Columbus from Washington D.C., where he was head chef at Rose’s Luxury and Little Pearl, both Michelin star restaurants. Beans from local coffee roaster Roaming Goat Coffee Co. can now be found in three local Whole Foods Market locations in Dublin, Easton and Upper Arlington.
Crafted Drafts, a craft beer retail shop, has shuttered permanently because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Its two locations in Gahanna and Hilliard closed their doors on Saturday, March 21.
