A few weeks after J Hot Fish shuttered its restaurant in South Linden, owner K.C. Edwards’ Southern food eatery has landed in Eastmoor at 2882 E. Main St., operating out of The Good Food Truck. The truck is in the parking lot of the Blu Note Café, a forthcoming jazz club owned by Edwards’ cousin DerrikPannell. Edwards says the venue, which was briefly Easy Street Cafe, has undergone a full renovation and will open this fall. J Hot Fish plans to operate part time from the Blu Note’s kitchen. In the meantime, J Hot Fish will serve its signature fried fish, fried chicken and other comfort food staples out of the truck Thursday through Saturday from 1 to 8 p.m.
