Beer of the Month: Rockmill Brewery Pilsner

Style: Belgian Pilsner

ABV: 4.8%

Having established a roster of Belgian farmhouse ales, dubbels, tripels and even the occasional IPA and stout, Rockmill Brewery has turned its expertise to crafting a pilsner ideal for summer. The Lancaster brewery’s Belgian Pilsner is composed of German malts and Czech hops. It pours a pale yellow with a fizzy white head. The flavors and aromas are sweet, grassy and a little floral, and the brew finishes with the crisp, clean texture you’d expect of the style. —Nicholas Dekker
