NEW YORK (AP) Elisabeth Hasselbeck says she's leaving as one of the three co-hosts on the "Fox & Friends" morning show to spend more time with her three children.

Hasselbeck, who was the conservative voice on "The View" before joining Fox News Channel, has worked with co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade since September 2013. It's the top-rated morning news show on cable.

She said in a statement Monday that she's entering a time when she wants to start her day with her children first. Her last show on "Fox & Friends" will be on Dec. 22.

Fox will try out guest co-hosts before announcing a permanent successor.
