HEROIN-FATAL CRASH: A 33-year-old Dayton-area man has been sentenced to two years in prison after prosecutors say he crashed his car while high on heroin, killing a passenger.

HIT AND RUN-SENTENCING: A Columbus man who admitted to his role in a fatal 2014 hit-and-run accident that killed a 21-year-old man crossing the street has been sentenced to less than a year in jail.

20th DUI: A judge has sentenced a southwestern Ohio man to eight years in state prison for his 20th drunken driving conviction.

POSTMASTER SENTENCED-THEFT: Officials say a former U.S. Post Office postmaster in Ohio has been sentenced to 10 months in federal prison for stealing more than $57,000 in money and postage.

OHIO REDISTRICTING: Backers of an Ohio redistricting proposal that's been struggling to grab voter attention want people to know they've united some odd bedfellows.

GOP 2016-KASICH-IOWA: Fresh off an aggressive turn in the third Republican presidential debate, Ohio Gov. John Kasich has put a leadership team in place in the early voting state of Iowa.
