WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (AP) - Authorities say a United Express flight has landed safely at Connecticut's Bradley International Airport after the pilot extinguished a small fire in the cockpit.

The plane landed Friday at the airport about 15 miles north of the capital city, Hartford.

No one was injured.

State police Sgt. Shane Hassett says the pilot put out a small fire with an extinguisher. He says Bradley was the plane's destination. It wasn't immediately clear where the flight had originated or what may have caused the blaze.

No other details were immediately available.
