The Crawford Street Market is set to open on Saturday, June 7 in downtown Findlay. It's a combination of a farmers' market and Art-See-Mart. The market will provide a venue downtown in which local growers may sell locally -grown produce and products directly to the consumers. Local artists can offer their fine art creations, handmade craft and related items. The market will combine the traditional farmers' market with art vendors in a centralized location for the 2014 season. The Crawford Street Market will take place every Saturday starting June 7 up to Oct. 25. The market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be located in the Municipal Building parking lot on West Crawford Street in downtown Findlay. The market features locally-grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, jams, honey, salsa, baked goods, bedding plants and potted plants. Also featured will be handmade items created locally; lotions, soaps, makeup, artsy handmade clothing, and handmade creations. Bread Kneads, Time Out 4 Me, Powell's Honey and Jody's Cottage by the Pond will be a few of the vendors.
