Wheat for September delivery flat to 6.43½ a bushel; September corn was 6.75 cents higher at $4.75 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.26¾ a bushel; while September soybeans were 20 cents higher at 12.19 a bushel.
Beef prices were higher, and pork prices gained on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was 2.78 cents higher at $1.2745 a pound; September feeder cattle rose 1.43 cents to $1.5400 a pound; October lean hogs .53 higher at $1.0070 a pound.
