Wheat for September delivery rose 3.75 cents to $6.5875 a bushel; September corn slipped 1.5 cent to $5.30 a bushel; September oats were flat at $3.565 a bushel; while August soybeans fell 2.25 cents to $14.34 a bushel.
Beef prices fell, while pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle fell 0.27 cent to $1.2190 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 0.47 cent to $1.5075 a pound; July lean hogs added 0.08 cent to $1.0115 a pound.
