Zuni Corkerton, founder and president of RefCheck Information Services, Inc., which provides background checks for employers. She previously was an HR manager for a bank.

Gretchen Green, retired director of HR for the Ohio Secretary of State's office and winner of the inaugural HR Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.

Brad Harshaw, managing partner of Strategic Business Services. He has taught more than 20 years at Columbus State Community College in the Human Resource Management Technology Program.

Katie McGrath, senior vice president and director of human resources for Columbus-based marketing and communications agency Fahlgren Mortine. She was 2014 HR Executive of the Year in the small organization category.

Colleen Rains, HR director at Elford. She was 2013's Executive of the Year in the small organization category.

Teresa Shuler, owner of Express Employment Professionals and vice president of resource partnerships for the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio. Her Downtown agency specializes in administrative and legal support staffing.

Nicole Smith, past president of the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio and owner of Talent Resource Group. She is a senior recruiter at Grange Insurance.

Tammie Nance-Spayde, vice president of corporate human resources for Online Computer Library Center. She was the first HR Executive of the Year for midsize organizations in 2012.

Fran Wahrman, vice president, incentive compensation governance manager with Huntington National Bank. She also teaches HR at Franklin University.

Julie Young, an attorney who specializes in employment issues with Worley Law. She was the Good Works winner in the 2014 HR Excellence Awards.
