A fresh class of big-hearted innovators has been convened. We can't wait to see what they do.

Columbus CEO is proud to announce our 2021 class of Future 50 leaders—a diverse group of accomplished people committed to making Columbus a world-class community.

These fascinating people count among their ranks a hospital CEO, a police officer, a member of Gov. Mike DeWine's cabinet, doctors, attorneys, entrepreneurs, community leaders, bankers and nonprofit executives. In their day jobs, they're focused on philanthropy, community development, technological innovation and more, and they represent organizations from Columbus Crew to Cardinal Health to Pelotonia to a venture capital fund and an insurance company that chose Columbus as their new home.

We'll celebrate this amazing class in January with a special 13th issue of the magazine sharing their ideas for how to move the region forward. Then, they’ll gather (virtually) early in the new year to choose an Annual Project (or projects? up to them!). The coronavirus didn't stop the inaugural class of Future 50 from creating a moving, provocative piece of thought leadership in the October issue of Columbus CEO.

Think of this group as the people who are going to help make Columbus the Great American City of the Next Century—a place that embodies the Future 50 core values of achievement, altruism, boldness, creativity and inclusivity.

In case you're wondering, here's who was in last year's inaugural class of Future 50. They had the majority hand in choosing this year's class: For every application, Future 50 members scored twice and Columbus CEO scored once.
