Safelite AutoGlass, one of the nation's largest providers of vehicle glass repair, replacement and recalibration services, has appointed Ryan Trierweiler as chair of Safelite’s AutoGlass Foundation.
Trierweiler, executive vice president of people and leadership, leads Safelite's people-focused culture through a variety of integrated strategies. As chair of the foundation, he will review strategies and research humanitarian needs of organizations to align giving efforts and evolve strategies. Since its inception, the foundation has provided nearly $20M in grants to fund programs as well as hundreds of thousands of associate volunteer hours to support local efforts.
ODW Logistics has named Gary Meador as chief operating officer. Meador comes to ODW from UPS Supply Chain Solutions, where he held several key leadership positions, most recently as vice president of operations for Latin America region, global logistics.
He will lead contract logistics operations, Dist-Trans (ODW’s regional asset-based fleet), and the operations excellence teams including quality, safety and security, facilities maintenance and continuous improvement. Meador, a certified project management professional, has a bachelor’s in business management from Indiana.
Champion Companies has promoted Brian Hoar to chief investment officer, overseeing acquisitions, dispositions and equity investor relationships.
Hoar has been instrumental in Champion’s growth and profitability, providing critical assistance in deal construction, negotiating contracts and managing capital relationships. He has helped Champion close more than $1 billion in multifamily transactions since joining the company seven years ago.
South Side Early Learning has promoted of Thia Thissen to assistant director of family and student services. In this position, she will provide organization-wide leadership to enhance family engagement, strengthen parent voices and support culturally responsive, equitable and inclusive classroom environments.
Thissen joined South Side Learning in 1992, and she was named the Walter & Miriam English Award recipient in 2019 for demonstrating a strong commitment to the field of human services through the provision of direct services to individuals and families.
