Two months ago, the city was celebrating a record year for tourism.
It seems like another lifetime now, but just two months ago, Experience Columbus had a lot to celebrate at its annual meeting March 4, which it held at Express Live.
Last year saw record bed tax collections of $49.7 million as Columbus came into its own as a destination. The city was named to the New York Times' list of 52 Places to Go, and we hosted the "Superbowl of meetings," the American Society of Association Executives’ Annual Meeting. Looking ahead, Columbus won the bid to host another sought-after meeting, the Convening Leaders gathering by the Professional Convention Management Association in 2023.
