An annual report from the Columbus Council on World Affairs illustrates the extent of international business in Central Ohio.

The Central Ohio business community maintains impressive foreign connections, according to a 2018 report from the Columbus Council on World Affairs, which was profiled in the February 2020 issue of Columbus CEO. It is linked to more than 85 countries, and 60,661 local jobs are provided by
foreign-owned companies. 

32 local companies operate 1,828 establishments in more than 85 countries around the world. The top three local companies operate 1,372 foreign establishments in countries around the world (66% of the total). 60,661 are employed by foreign-owned companies, and goods and services exports support 57,966 jobs.
