Angela Meleca, executive director
Meleca comes to OCA with 20 years of experience in journalism, politics, public relations and marketing, and the arts. Before founding the contemporary art Angela Meleca Gallery Downtown, Meleca was a political journalist and press secretary for the Ohio Senate. In 2019, she closed her gallery to advance her passion for community building.

OHIO HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
David Leland, recipient of Legislator of the Year Award by the Ohio Public Transit Association
Ohio Representative Leland played an instrumental role in securing $70 million a year from the General Revenue Fund for urban and rural transit systems in the recent two-year state budget. The Ohio Department of Transportation budget originally proposed $40 million a year. Transit previously received $33 million a year.
COLUMBUS CITY COUNCIL
Council President Shannon Hardin, elected to the National League of Cities Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the National League of Cities
Hardin was elected to a two-year term and will play an essential role as a leader of the nation’s largest membership and advocacy organization for city officials. Hardin will also continue his service on the NLC's 2020 Presidential Election Task Force.
Recipient of $2.5 million grant from Jeff Bezos’ Day 1 Families Fund
The YWCA is the only Columbus organization to receive this funding. The Day 1 Families Fund is a one-time grant that awarded to organizations addressing family homelessness.
Ben Stormer, senior VP of technology
Stormer goes to g2o (formerly ICC) from CoverMyMeds, where he was the VP of provider products. Before that, he spent over 16 years filling various executive and management roles at Cardinal Health.
