Our Leaderboard featuring Columbus region hospitals ranked by number of beds has been running since 2007. The magazine's leaderboards feature selected business sectors each month.

OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital is again No. 1.

The Columbus CEO hospitals Leaderboard this year shows that Riverside Methodist Hospital, Ohio State University Wexner Center and Grant Medical Center are Nos. 1, 2 and 3, respectively, by number of beds. Riverside has 1,061 beds, OSU has 784 beds and Grant has 636 beds.

Riverside also saw the most admissions in 2018 with 49,076. Across the Oho State health care system, there were 57,383 admissions.

There are only five parent organizations represented on the 10-hospital listing. They are OhioHealth, Ohio State, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Trinity Health (Mount Carmel) and Licking Memorial Health Systems.

Columbus CEO is in the process of collecting information for our December Leaderboards now. We will feature Central Ohio credit unions, office furniture companies and colleges and universities. The deadline for inclusion in those surveys is Sept. 20. To be considered, contact Chloe Teasley at cteasley@columbusceo.com or 614-461-5109.
