COLUMBUS DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENT
Michael Stevens, Interim Director
Chief Innovation Officer Stevens will serve as interim director pending the departure of current Director Steve Schoeny. Schoeny is leaving to become city manager for the City of Upper Arlington and is expected to transition into his new role at the end of September.

OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF MEDICINE
Dr. J. Nwando Olayiwola, chair, Department of Family Medicine
In this role, Olayiwola will lead clinical, educational and scientific programs; as well as oversee the strategy, growth and development of a primary care research program. The department has more than 100 faculty members, residents and fellows who specialize in family medicine, integrative medicine, women’s health, geriatrics, sports medicine and transgender health.

IDEA FOUNDRY
Casey McCarty, CEO 

Jack Storey, COO  
McCarty had previously been the Idea Foundry's COO for eight years. She will focus on financial stability and scaling the company in her role. Storey joined the Foundry at the beginning of 2019. Previously, he was the executive director of the Franklinton Urban Empowerment Lab (FUEL), a community development corporation in Columbus.

OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF OPHTHALMOLOGY AND VISUAL SCIENCE
Dr. Sayoko Moroi, Chair
Effective in January 2020, Dr. Moroi comes to Ohio State from the University of Michigan, where she is the Jerome Jacobson Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, chief of the Division of Glaucoma and director of the Glaucoma Fellowship.

AMERICAN BOARD OF SURGERY
Dr. K. Craig Kent, Chair, American Board of Surgery
Dr. Kent is the dean of the Ohio State University College of Medicine. His term will last from 2019-2020.

BRAIN INJURY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA WILLIAM FIELDS CAVENESS AWARD
Jennifer Bogner, winner
Bogner is a professor at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She receives the award  for her research and contributions on both a national and international level to improve the lives of those who have sustained a brain injury. Her research focuses on behavioral and emotional regulation, substance misuse, community participation and the long-term effects of traumatic brain injury.

OHIO DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
Katherine Nickey, Deputy Director, General Serviceas Division
In her role, Nickey oversees fleet management, procurement services, properties and facilities, real estate and planning, risk management, and printing and mail services. Prior to this role, she was chief financial officer for the Ohio Secretary of State.


COLUMBUS PODCAST AWARDS BEST BUSINESS PODCAST

The Columbus Podcast Awards hosted its inaugural event acknowledging over 80 shows in Columbus through a number of different categories including Best Business Podcast, Best Comedy Podcast and Best Music Podcast. The Columbus Chamber of Commerice's Cbuzz was one of seven finalists in the Best Business Podcast category.

PELOTONIA
Joe Apgar, COO
Prior to joining Pelotonia three years ago, Apgar was at Rockbridge Capital, a Columbus-based private equity real estate firm, most recently as a director of strategic initiatives.  While at Rockbridge, Apgar was instrumental in launching RTRX, the largest corporate fundraising event for Pelotonia.
