For all the worthwhile work profiled in this feature, couldn't choose just one cover.
We had a blast putting together the annual Columbus Partnership issue of Columbus CEO, which this year profiles six local business leaders who are making a difference with passion projects—Sandy Doyle-Ahern and her chairmanship of the YWCA Columbus; Cameron Mitchell and his ambitious Mitchell Hall project making Columbus State Community College a state-of-the-art culinary program; Lou Von Thaer's dedication to making science fun for kids; Manuel Guzman's willingness to share the lawn at CAS with the community for good causes; Greif CEO Pete Watson's leadership of the American Heart Association's Heart Walk this year; and CCAD President Melanie Corn's joyful participation in the creation of a social justice park next to the college.
The issue features six outstanding portraits by photographer Rob Hardin, who visited each CEO with a traveling studio and a red seamless backdrop, bringing the feeling home in each piece.
To celebrate that work and the work of the CEOs, all of whom are members of the Partnership, art director Yogesh Chaudhary created not just one magazine cover, but six. I hope you'll enjoy seeing them around town.
