Columbus, get ready for a retractable-rooftop bar and a nod to So-Cal fresh.

The latest concepts from Cameron Mitchell Restaurants—Del Mar SoCal Kitchen and Lincoln Social Rooftop—will open this spring in the Lincoln Building on North High Street (705 and 711 N. High St., respectively), which is under construction.

Between the two of them, Del Mar and Lincoln Social will add 100 jobs. Providing leadership for the concepts are Executive Chef Sonny Pache, a CMR veteran from Ocean Prime Dallas, and General Manager Laurie Kniess, who is currently the general manager of The Pearl, another Cameron Mitchell restaurant in the Short North.

Del Mar SoCal Kitchen will be focused on fresh options with a California vibe. It will offer plenty of vegetarian dishes and seafood such as poke and conchs. Lincoln Social Rooftop is, as the name suggests, a rooftop lounge on top of the Lincoln building. It will sport a retractable roof and fire pit. This marks Cameron Mitchell’s first rooftop patio endeavor. A guest may travel from one restaurant to the next via elevator.

The two new concepts join 16 others in the Cameron Mitchell portfolio and 36 total restaurants throughout the nation.
