If you haven't patronized the Short North Gallery Hop yet in 2017, this is the weekend to check it out.

Saturday’s Short North Holiday Hop is the largest Gallery Hop of the year with the addition of the Holiday Hop Pop Up Shop at 873 N. High St.  Donate new or gently used clothing or jewelry while you’re there and get complimentary gift wrapping from Dress for Success on Wrap It Up Saturdaze Dec. 9, 16 and 23 from noon to 6 p.m. Pop ups for retail, performances and art exhibits will continue Monday through Dec. 29 throughout the Short North Arts District. See the Holiday Shopping Guide for more.

If you’d rather roll than stroll, the Discovery District Holiday Trolley Hop on Dec. 9 may be just your cup of hot cocoa. Stops include the Columbus Metropolitan Library (featuring the Huntington Holiday Train), the Columbus Museum of Art and Thurber House.

Can’t wait to see the 600-square-foot train exhibit that once graced the Huntington Bank lobby Downtown? See it at the Main Library’s holiday open house on Wednesday.

Regardless of how you travel, the Columbus Chamber’s Year-end Logistics Industry Mixer on Dec. 5 at Dawson is worth the trip. The evening of networking and refreshments is cohosted by the Columbus Region Logistics Council and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.

Family business owners and employees will be especially interested in the ACG Columbus Women in Transactions case study series kicking off Dec. 7 at White Castle headquarters with President and CEO Lisa Ingram on Managing Family Dynamics.

Ingram is one of last year’s honorees as CEO of the Year. Come celebrate this year’s winners and finalists Dec. 13 at the Statehouse Atrium. The event features a brief panel discussion led by Capital University President Beth Paul with previous CEO of the Year winners Alex Fischer, Jane Grote Abell, E.J. Thomas and Watershed Distillery’s Dave Rigo with Greg Lehman.
