Interim editor of 'Columbus Monthly' recognized as an industry leader

Sherry Beck Paprocki, the interim editor of Columbus Monthly, was named to the Folio: 100, which recognizes "magazine media's thought leaders, trendsetters and newsmakers." Paprocki was included under the category of Executives.

Folio:, which reports on the United States magazine industry, honored the recipients at a luncheon at the Yale Club in New York City Dec. 6.

Folio: also honored Paprocki in June during a ceremony in New York City as a member of its 2018 Class of Top Women in Media. She was part of the Motivators category.

Paprocki recently completed a two-year term as the president of the American Society of Journalists and Authors, the nation's largest group of independent writers. Her two-year term ended in June.

Paprocki, who is president of her own communications company, R.S. Rock Media, has had a long relationship with Columbus Monthly as a writer and editor. Aside from interim editor, she currently serves as editor of the magazine's Home and Style section, as well as editor of Columbus Monthly Home & Garden and Columbus Monthly Health.
