SUGARCREEK — For one day only, visitors will have the opportunity to take center stage, explore the dressing rooms and see the mechanics behind the productions at the Ohio Star Theater.

Ohio Star Theater at 1387 state Route 39 in Sugarcreek will open its doors for a free behind-the-scenes tour on Friday, July 13, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., and again from 4 to 8 p.m.

Guests are invited to step into the 500-seat theater and explore on a self-guided tour.

Stations will be set up so you can see the mechanics behind productions such as the lighting booth, dressing rooms and audio booth.

The Dutch Valley Bakery will provide refreshments to guests.

A special on tickets for 2018 musicals at the box office will be on sale between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday, July 13, as well. There will be a buy one, get one free offer. Purchase one ticket for the 2018 musicals: "Half-Stitched," "Stolen" and "Christmas in Paradise," and receive one free ticket for the same show.

On Saturday, July 14, at 7 p.m., Point of Grace will be in concert, and the following weekend, July 20-21, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound will be in concert.
