The Ohio Department of Transportation issued a weekly traffic and construction advisory for Portage County.

• In Streetsboro, beginning Aug. 21, Interstate 480 under Frost Road — between the Summit County line and the Ohio Turnpike — will have various nightly lane restrictions through the morning of Aug. 23 for bridge beam placement.

These restrictions will occur nightly between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Frost Road between Ellsworth Road and Phillips Parkway and at the intersection of Frost Road and S.R. 43 will have occasional lane restrictions for roadway widening.

This work is part of a $5.5 million project to widen Frost Road between Sunny Lane and S.R. 43 and between Ellsworth Road to Phillips Parkway. The project also includes the widening of the Frost Road bridge over I-480.

The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late September 2018.

• In Deerfield Township beginning Monday, S.R. 14 just south of US 224 will be closed through Friday for a culvert replacement. The detour will be S.R. 534 to US 224.

Also beginning Monday, S.R. 225 between Yale and Mottown roads will be reduced to one lane with traffic maintained by a temporary traffic signal.

This work is part of a $400,000 project to replace culverts on S.R. 14 and S.R. 225 in Portage County. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late September.

• In Shalersville Township, S.R. 303 between Infirmary Road and S.R. 44 will be closed through Tuesday for a bridge replacement. The detour is S.R. 14 to S.R. 44.

Then, beginning Tuesday, S.R. 303 between S.R. 14 and Diagonal Road will be closed through early September for a bridge replacement.

This work is part of a $1.6 million project to resurface S.R. 303 between the eastern Streetsboro Corporation limit to S.R. 44. The project also includes two bridge replacements. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late October.
