Melinda Bucher and Preston Epling were united in marriage on Oct. 7, 2017, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in New Middleton, officiated by Father John Thomas Lane. 

Melinda is the daughter of Brian and Sharlene Bucher of Poland, Ohio. 

Preston is the son of Earl and Mary Epling of Ravenna. 

Maid of honor was Marissa Bucher, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lauren Alexander, Sara Auclair, Rachel Baker, Malissa Lynn, Devon Chappel, Katie Moon and Heather Kitchen, sister of the groom. 

Junior bridesmaid was Corley Hundzsa, niece of the groom. Flower girl was Aubrey Hundzsa, niece of the groom. 

Best men were Phillip Buchanan and Cory Treharn. Groomsmen were Harold Ables, Mitch Eatinger, Lloyd Ables, Justin Alley and Henry Peyton. 

Special guests included Donna Alexander, the groom’s maternal grandmother. 

Melinda graduated from Poland Seminary High School in 2010. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014 at the University of Akron. She is a registered nurse at the Cleveland Clinic Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. 

Preston graduated from Southeast High School in 2007. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 at the University of Akron. He is a registered nurse at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital, Hematology, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. 

The reception was held at the Maronite Center in Youngstown. 

Following their honeymoon to the Island of Curacao, the newlyweds are residing in South Euclid.
