The opening reception for the Akron Art Museum’s exhibit Blurred Lines, featuring works of artist Jun Kaneko, will be Feb. 16, 6-9 p.m. The works of the internationally renowned artist have been chosen for their powerful yet contemplative presence; many works featured in Blurred Lines are drawn from the artist’s private collection and represent transformational moments in his career. The exhibition includes several large-scale ceramic sculptures, drawings, paintings and a site-specific installation of his 65-foot-long painting, Mirage. The exhibition will be on view through June 3 at One South High Street.
