VEGAS PAYOFF: Revenue from Wynn's two properties IN Las Vegas soared by 16.2 percent compared with last year.

CAUTIOUS BET: CEO Steve Wynn said he didn't take the Las Vegas growth as a sign that the town and the U.S. economy as a whole are recovering from the recession.
