Abercrombie & Fitch’s diversity and inclusion efforts have been assigned to Amy Zehrer, executive vice president of stores, the company announced yesterday.

The move was a result of the departure of Todd Corley, who had led those efforts for the apparel retailer since 2004.

Corley is launching the TAPO Institute, which will focus on “inclusive leadership,” Abercrombie said in a statement.

Abercrombie said Corley was responsible for a number of accomplishments during his decade at the company, including an increase from less than 10 percent in nonwhite associates when he started to more than 50 percent today.
