Cincinnati’s Dinsmore law firm adds smaller firm

CINCINNATI — Dinsmore & Shohl, a large Cincinnati-based law firm with a presence in Columbus, is combining with Peck Shaffer & Williams, which became a division of Dinsmore as of Saturday.

Peck Shaffer also is based in Cincinnati and has an office in Columbus.

“We are excited about the opportunity to join Dinsmore and to expand our public-finance service offering,” Dirk M. Bedarff, Peck Shaffer’s managing partner, said in a statement.

Dinsmore has more than 500 lawyers in 16 cities.

Peck Shaffer, one of the oldest bond-counsel firms in the nation, employs 35 lawyers.
