A Westerville home-improvement business is one of two contractors being sued by Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine for failure to deliver promised services to customers.
One lawsuit charges Michael Evilsizer and Buckeye Exteriors of Westerville with violations of the state’s consumer laws, principally accepting money for work that was not done or not done properly.
DeWine said his office is aware of six unresolved consumer complaints against Buckeye Exteriors.
These consumers paid $950 to $10,000 for work that was not completed, DeWine said.
A separate lawsuit has been filed against Michael Combs and Granite Designs of Fairfield.
Six complaints also were filed against Granite Designs, which is no longer in business, the attorney general said. These customers paid the company an average of $3,000 for work that was never completed, he said.
