Interim leader of BioOhio will stay on as president and CEO

John F. Lewis Jr. has been appointed president and CEO of BioOhio, the bioscience trade association announced yesterday. He had served as interim president and chief operating officer.

Lewis, 51, will be the fourth president of BioOhio since the trade association was founded in 1987. He succeeds Anthony J. Dennis, who announced his retirement in April after serving as president for 11 years.

Lewis, a Bexley native, is a graduate of Miami University and Capital University Law School. He has been at BioOhio for 12 years.
