Guests heard from the featured speaker, Carla Harris, who is the vice chairman of wealth management and senior client advisor at Morgan Stanley, as well as the author of Expect to Win.
Experience Columbus held its annual meeting on Tuesday, March 10, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Attendees learned more about the city's tourism bureau and its goals for the year. The New Albany Community Foundation's Feb. 25 Jefferson Series event featured New Albany planners Les Wexner, Jack Kessler, Gerald McCue, Laurie Olin, Jaque Robertson and Graham Wyatt. Their discussion was moderated by journalist Charlie Rose.
Otterbein University hosted its Women in Philanthropy Summit: Investing in Women for the Common Good on March 3 and 4. More than 350 people gathered to hear Dr. Musimbi Kanyoro, president and CEO of the Global Fund for Women, and Katie Koch, senior portfolio strategist and chief of staff for the Goldman Sachs Asset Management Office of the Chairman, United Kingdom, deliver keynote speeches. The summit also included networking, roundtable discussions and panels. This was the second event of its kind and was in partnership with The University of Findlay and Bowling Green State University, which is set to host the 2016 summit.
The Columbus Chamber of Commerce hosted its 2015 Annual Meeting on Feb. 12, 2015, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center's Battelle Grand ballroom. Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co., was the keynote speaker. George Barrett, CEO of Cardinal Health, conducted an interview with Dimon at the event. Jack Partridge, president of Columbia Gas, received the 2015 Columbus Award.
Squire Patton Boggs and the Ohio Women's Bar Association presented The Essence of Presence Workshop on Dec. 11 at the Hilton Columbus at Easton. Attendees discussed the value and components of executive presence for women and heard from Chasity Kuttrus, owner of Executive Elements.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals recognized area individuals, foundations and companies for their philanthropic efforts at its 2014 Central Ohio National Philanthropy Awards Luncheon on Nov. 25 at the Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel.
Columbus CEO celebrated the 2014 Best of Business Awards on Oct. 15 at Scioto Country Club. More than 200 people attended the event in celebration of the awards, which are given out annually based on a reader survey. View the results here.
