Clippers activate Johnson
The Clippers activated Elliot Johnson today for the 1:05 p.m. game against the Syracuse Chiefs. The veteran utility player was outrighted to Columbus by the Cleveland Indians on Friday. He accepted the assignment yesterday. He is playing second base and batting eighth.
To make roster room, pitcher Brett Brach was released by the Cleveland organization.
Infielder Ryan Rohlinger (right abductor strain) ran the bases today and took ground balls on the infield. He is eligible to come off the 7-day disabled list on Tuesday.
