Drexel's new direction

Posted by Kitty McConnell on June 28, 2013

Though 30-year Drexel theater vet Jeff Frank is stepping down from his position as artistic director of the popular indie movie house, his influence will remain. Friends of the Drexel announced this morning that Frank will remain involved with the theater as artistic director emeritus.

Kevin Rouch, operations manager for the nonprofit theater on Main Street in downtown Bexley, will take over more of the day-to-day operation, as will CAPA, which took over management of the theater in 2011. According to CAPA spokeswoman Rolanda Copley, the theater management expect healthy summer business boosted by foot traffic from Bexley residents and visitors.

“It’s holding it’s own. It's doing well and I think the board is pleased," says Copley.
